The 2007 Tractor Ride

Last year’s tractor ride wound 31 miles through Coffee, Warren, and Cannon counties in southern middle Tennessee.  Participants came from as far away as Michigan to ride in the line of tractors that was over a mile long.

The tractors varied in age, size, make, and model.  The oldest tractor was a 1941 Model H Farmall.  The newest tractor was a 2007 John Deere purchased less than a week before the ride.

Participants of all ages enjoyed the ride, even if they had no tractor to drive.  Some of the tractors in the ride pulled wagons to accommodate the young and young-at-heart.

Riders took a break approximately half-way through the ride before returning to the Community Center for hamburgers and hotdogs.  Participants who provided their contact information during registration were mailed photos and a slideshow / video DVD shortly after the event.
